All members are conscious of their Salah and try to maintain Mahram-Non Mahram boundaries. Ammu has raised us three siblings according to Islamic principles . Our family members are caring, understanding and respectful of each other. Though my core family is practicing and strict about Deen, my extended family (on my dadubari and nanubari) is slightly moderate as they are influenced by societal norms and culture. They seriously perform Salat, Fasting, Hajj, Zakat, but are not strict about maintaining Mahram and Non-Mahram boundaries. But they are helpful and respectful to those who maintain it. |
